Stop At The Giant Woodpecker...

...You've Arrived!

Whether you are driving West on the number 32 or in the South - North - South direction on the number 321, you must continue on to the town of LEADER, in the province of SASKATCHEWAN where they have a rather whimsical assortment of enormous wildlife sculptures. You will know you have arrived when you come to the junction with a Giant Woodpecker, clutching on a tree stump.
This particular sculpture is of interest because it brings you adjacent, right across the street to the restaurant named RATTLERS.

Starbucks Now Officially An Inglewoodian

I didn't realise until today that this Starbucks location was not on the Urban Spoon Map. So I suggested it.
It just so happened that I was in the very place at the time I sent in the information that U.S. needed and now Inglewood's Starbucks is finally here.
Even though some may think this Starbucks is lacking when it comes to a drive thru, those who do not live in Inglewood may not be aware that walking in and waiting to order your special brew is part of the experience that awaits you.

It's a Truck Stop & Food Go!

Make sure you have a toonie for the jukebox, there's one at every table. You will get three plays for one dollar and seven songs for two dollars.
I NEVER, EVER leave without hearing "I LEFT MY HEART IN SAN FRANCISCO" by Tony Bennett and "HE STOPPED LOVING HER TODAY" by George Jones. The third song is always a random one depending on my mood. I sing along out loud and once even had an older couple get up and dance in the isle to the old George Jones tune. It actually brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye.

Wherefore Art Thou Romeo?

Wherefore Art Thou Romeo?
Deny thy palate and refuse thy calories?
If thou wilt not, be but sworn by formaggio,
Then you'll no longer be a friend to Italy.
If you feel like you do not want to pay for pasta when you go out for supper, ROMEO'S will change your mind and make you a believer!
It was late one night, only but a day or two after I had moved into my apartment on the corner of Cedar Hill and Hillside when I was still too tired to unpack more pots and dishes,
