Starbucks Now Officially An Inglewoodian

I didn't realise until today that this Starbucks location was not on the Urban Spoon Map. So I suggested it.
It just so happened that I was in the very place at the time I sent in the information that U.S. needed and now Inglewood's Starbucks is finally here.
Even though some may think this Starbucks is lacking when it comes to a drive thru, those who do not live in Inglewood may not be aware that walking in and waiting to order your special brew is part of the experience that awaits you.

Sometimes lining up to tap your toes and swirl over the menu just gives you more time to change your mind about what to choose while you gaze on at all the sweet petite's before your eyes. And overhearing conversation makes for additional comments or opinions about your preference and coffee secrets to share with your fellows in line.
Here at this locale they have the usual free WiFi provided by BELL. Also at this Starbucks is a local (Un) official community book co-operative where you can bring in and take away used books on the honour system. At your leisure you may take a book to read at home, on the transit or even just outside while you enjoy your VENTI, NO FOAM, SUGAR-FREE, HAZELNUT LATTE on the patio outside :::---))) Bring the book back or add a different one to the collection. It's all about sharing!
The staff here are always engaging and genuinely friendly. For example, last week one of the baristas, Cody, plainly told me, "I enjoy your coat!" I answered, "Thank you for telling me and not petting me like so many others do" and we laughed. Then Barbara piped up from behind the counter, turned and spritefully asked: "OH, CAN I PET IT?!?!"
Could I refuse her? No way. This is Inglewood. We are family.
(By the way, as a Post Script notation, I am happy to mention that the Calgary City Police do not "do donuts" in this neighbourhood either. Our civil servants, like the ones mentioned in my 1st Starbucks review from Calgary SE, LOVE their STARBUCKS and I believe that they deserve the best! Why else would they keep coming back? If they are going to serve and protect, they better have the right stuff in them! *****STARBUCKS*****
